AIEGNOS Commerce OS GSC Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AIEGNOS Commerce OS GSC accesses, uses, stores, and protects Google Search Console data. The application is an owner-operated desktop utility used only for the verified aiegnos.com property. This policy describes that GSC utility and is not the store's general privacy policy.
Google data the application accesses
The application requests only the Google Search Console read-only scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly.
With the site owner's authorization, the application may access:
- Search Console property identity and permission level;
- Search Analytics data, including queries, pages, countries, devices, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average position;
- sitemap status and related read-only metadata; and
- URL Inspection results for authorized aiegnos.com URLs.
The application does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars, advertising data, payment data, or the user's general Google profile.
How the data is used
Google Search Console data is used only to measure search visibility, monitor technical search status, produce local reports, compare approved SEO experiments, and evaluate the performance of aiegnos.com over time.
The data does not automatically alter Symbol facts, product facts, product content, Shopify settings, Search Console settings, sitemaps, or indexing requests.
Storage and security
The OAuth Desktop Client configuration is stored outside the source-code repository in an access-restricted local directory. The refresh token is encrypted locally using Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI). Short-lived access tokens, authorization codes, client secrets, and recoverable credentials are excluded from logs, reports, and source control.
Authorized Search Console measurement records may be stored in the local AIEGNOS Commerce OS database and local evidence reports for longitudinal SEO analysis. Access is limited to the authorized AIEGNOS owner and the local systems required to operate the application.
Sharing and disclosure
AIEGNOS does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or profiling, transfer it to data brokers, or share it with unrelated third parties. Data is not sent to external AI content providers.
Google data is exchanged with Google only as necessary to perform the owner's authorized Search Console API requests.
Retention, deletion, and revocation
The encrypted OAuth grant is retained until the owner revokes access, deletes the local credential, or retires the integration. Search Console measurement history is retained locally until the owner deletes it or the project is retired, so that comparable reporting periods can be evaluated.
The owner may revoke access through the Google Account third-party connections page. After revocation or project retirement, the local OAuth token and associated measurement records can be deleted from AIEGNOS systems.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the application's functionality, requested scope, or data-handling practices change. Any material expansion of Google data access requires a new authorization and an updated public disclosure before use.
