Agwe Central America Symbols Charm

Agwe is a military spirit and is very particular about protocol and procedure. He is the King of the Sea, captain of the exquisite Immamou, and husband to La Sirene, the beautiful mermaid. He is regarded as the example of a perfect husband, and they have a solid marriage. They frequently share an altar and are revered together. Typically, people have an image of Agwe as a fair-skinned, sea-green-eyed black man. His distinguishing characteristic is his sea-green eyes. He often wears a naval uniform, however, he may also appear as any aquatic animal. He is also represented by pictures of Saint Ulrich.
