Grand Bwa – Grand Bois Central America Symbols Necklace

In Haitian Vodou, Grand Bwa or Grand Bois is an elemental, nature-oriented loa strongly related with trees, plants, and herbs. His personal favorites are monkeys and red snakes, but he defends all forest wildlife. He is a primal and extremely strong lwa. He may be of Congolese origin, although some claim he was originally a Taino deity who was absorbed into the Vodou pantheon. Grand Bwa receives offerings of plants and herbs, honey, and spiced rum.
