Loco Central America Symbols Adjustable Bracelet

Loco Central America Symbols Adjustable Bracelet

In the Vodou faith, Loco is a loa (spirit) who protects healers and plants, particularly trees. He is a rada loa and a Racine (root). He is connected to the poteau mitan, or center pillar, of a Vodou peristyle, among other loa. Loco is regarded as the original houngan and is the husband of the loa Ayizan, who is the prototypical mambo (priestess). He and his wife take part in the kanzo initiation rituals when the aspiring priest or priestess receives the asson (sacred rattle and tool of the priesthood) as the spiritual parents of the priesthood. Both are capable defenders of 'regleman,' or the right way to provide Vodoun service.
